The building:

• Stage: easy-to-erect raised stage (maximum area 8 m² – there are eight inter-locking 1m²squares of stage available, plus one set of steps)
• Projection screen (pull-down screen available for use at end of hall; users will need to bring their own projector) see photo below
• Lighting:  fluorescent tube lighting;  plus adjustable small spotlights to face side and/or end wall
• Additional rooms:
  • store room (can serve as dressing room for performers)

• 15 lightweight 183 x 70 cm tables suitable for indoors or outdoors

• 6 cloth-top square card tables (not strong, and certainly unsuitable for heavy use)

• NOTE: anyone hiring the hall and wishing to sell alcohol there will need to submit a Temporary Entertainment Notice*, and must seek permission from the hall committee before making any such application to Cornwall Council, as only a limited number of TENs can be issued for these premises each year.

The hall hire charge includes basic heating and free use of the water boiler or kettle, crockery and cutlery, and washing up by hand.  Note that there are supplementary charges for use of the dishwasher, cooker etc.

The standard rates per hire (up to a maximum of four hours) are as follows:

• £15 for regular users*
• £19 for casual users
• £38 for trade and political users

Longer hires will be calculated pro rata for each additional two-hour period.

* A regular user is one that uses the Hall at least once per quarter
