  • Lighting:  fluorescent tube lighting;  plus adjustable small spotlights to face side and/or end wall

    • store room (can serve as dressing room for performers)

  • NOTE: anyone hiring the hall and wishing to sell alcohol there will need to submit a Temporary Entertainment Notice*, and must seek permission from the hall committee before making any such application to Cornwall Council, as only a limited number of TENs can be issued for these premises each year.

The hall hire charge includes basic heating and free use of the water boiler or kettle, crockery and cutlery, and washing up by hand.  Note that there are supplementary charges for use of the dishwasher, cooker etc.

The standard rates per hire (up to a maximum of four hours) are as follows:

  • £15 for regular users*
  • £19 for casual users
  • £38 for trade and political users

Longer hires will be calculated pro rata for each additional two-hour period.

* A regular user is one that uses the Hall at least once per quarter
